NPO法人日本インド文化経済センターは、日本とインドの相互理解と共創を目的に掲げるとともに文化・経済交流を促進するため、２０２３年８月８日に設立されました。
The NPO Japan-Indo Cultural and Economic Center was established on August 8, 2023, as a platform to promote cultural and economic exchange between Japan and India, fostering mutual understanding and co-creation.
日本とインドの交流促進に向けてモディ・インド首相が首相就任直後の2014年に初来日された際、最初に京都へ入洛されました。これを好機としてインドとの交流が着々と進む中、「継続的かつ組織的に日本とインド両国の文化・経済交流を図る体制」を作り、インド政府からも支援を得ながら両国の文化・経済交流促進のためのセミナー開催や起業を目指す双方の若者へのサポートを行うため、「日本インド文化経済センター」設立に至ったものです。
日本の中でも学生人口が多く、人材交流が活発な都市である日本の文化首都・京都において、観光や留学生などの人的交流を更に促すことも含め、世界をリードする人材の育成や新文化、新技術、新産業の創出を目指してまいります。

Indian Prime Minister Modi had visited 1st in Japan and it was Kyoto City on 2014 after he became Prime Minister.
Taking this as a good opportunity, while exchanges with India are steadily progressing, we have decided to create a system to promote cultural and economic exchanges between Japan and India in a continuous and systematic manner. In order to hold seminars to promote economic exchange and support young people from both countries who aim to start businesses, we will establish the Nippon-Indo Cultural and Economic Center (NICE).
In Kyoto, the cultural capital of Japan which has a large student population even in Japan and is a city where personnel exchanges are active, we will aim to enhance mutual understanding, including further promotion of human exchanges such as tourism and international students, to develop human resources who will lead the world, and to create new cultures, new technologies, and new industries.
